Beef noodle soup is a Chinese and Taiwanese noodle soup made of stewed or red braised beef, beef broth, vegetables and Chinese noodles. It exists in various forms throughout East Asia and Southeast Asia. Beef noodle soup was first created by the Hui people (a Chinese Muslim ethnic group) during the Tang Dynasty of China. The red braised beef noodle soup was invented by the veterans in Kaoshiung, Taiwan who fled from mainland China during the Chinese civil war
  
Mie kuah daging sapi adalah mie kuah dari Tiongkok dan Taiwan yang terbuat dari  daging sapi yang direbus atau memasak dengan api kecil sampai daging memerah, kaldu sapi, sayur dan mie China. Ada berbagai macam mie kuah daging sapi yang ada di Asia Timur dan Asia Tenggara. Minced pork rice is a Taiwanese style rice dish commonly seen throughout Taiwan. The flavor may vary from one region to another, but the basic ingredients remain the same: ground pork marinated and boiled in soy sauce served on top of steamed rice.

Nasi Loh Bak adalah makanan Taiwan yang bisa di jumpai di mana-mana di taiwan. Rasanya bervariasi di setiap daerah, tapi bahan dasarnya sama yaitu daging babi yang di asinkan dan di masak dengan kecap asin yang disajikan di atas nasi kukus.

Stinky tofu is a form of fermented tofu that has a strong odor. It is usually sold at night markets or roadside stands as a snack, or in lunch bars as a side dish, rather than in restaurants. Stinky tofu is usually served deep-fried  and often served drizzled with sauce and topped with sour pickled vegetables

Tahu busuk adalah bentuk tahu yang di fermentasikan  yang mempunyai bau yang sangat menyengat. Tahu busuk biasanya di jual di pasar malam atau di stan-stan di tepi jalan sebagai makanan ringan atau di bar sebagai menu sampingan dibandingkan di jual di restoran. Tahu busuk biasanya di sajikan dengan digoreng dan di sausin serta atasnya di tambah sayur yang di asinkan(kimchi taiwan)

Iron eggs are a specialty egg-based dish from Taiwan. They are considered a delicacy and originated in the Tamsui District of New Taipei City. The eggs were supposed to have been created by the restaurateur Huang Zhangnian (黃張哖) serving snacks to the dock hands in the sea-side town.  On one rainy day with less business than usual, Huang Zhangnian had to continually recook red cooked eggs (滷蛋) to keep them warm after taking them out of the soy sauce broth. The recooking and drying process eventually resulted in shrunken eggs that were dark, flavourful, and chewy, which was extremely popular with the locals.

Telur besi adalah makanan berbahan dasar telur khas dari Taiwan. Telur Busuk makanan yang awalnya berasal dari daerah Tamsui di kota Taipei Baru. Cara pembuatan telur ini ditemukan oleh pemilik restoran Huang Zhangnian yang menyajikan sebagai makanan ringan kepada buruh dermaga di kota pinggir laut. Pada hari hujan, bisnisnya sepi tidak seperti hari biasa, Huang Zhangnian terus menerus memasak telur rebusnya setelah dikeluarkan dari air kecap. Proses memasak ulang dan pengeringan menghasilkan telur yang mengkerut berwarna hitam, penuh rasa dan kenyal. Telur ini menjadi sangat populer di penduduk setempat.
